Thinking must cover full spectrum of thought

In order to be said to think as humans do, a computer must be capable of a full spectrum of thought, including high-end (focused, analytic and goal-oriented) and low-end (diffuse, analogical and associative) thinking.

For example, a flower and a flowered dress might be associated in low-end thought by a diffuse set of emotionally charged linkeages.
