Status: Legal, technical, trust issues stop exemplars scaling EU-wide
Innovative solutions exist – and work - in Europe for each of the 3 thematic areas – Environment for assisted and independent living, Care and cure, and Prevention and early diagnosis; however, various legal, technical, and trust issues stop these exemplars scaling across Europe.
Examples of good practice exist in all three thematic areas explored. However, actions need to be taken to:
- tackle issues (such as legal, technical, trust and acceptance…) that are currently preventing such examples from being scaled-up at EU level for the benefit of individuals, health systems and the economy
- bring together the right combination of stakeholders in partnership to overcome these challenges.
