Status—Need to project DAE international strategy over other policies
DAE’s international strategy must be projected over all relevant EU policies (Trade, standardization, public procurement, international research cooperation). Completing the internal DAE is the first step for a successful international strategy. Time is short, political leadership is necessary now.
Build on the strength of established dialogues; open to new realities; do not neglect developing countries and challenges of neighbourhood;
International strategy covers many areas: research, standards, trade, development.
Exchange best policy and regulatory practices on hot issues;
Prioritisation and simplification.
