Early discography consists of simple pop ballads

Beginning tracks of the Beatles such as "I Want to Hold Your Hand", "I Wanna Be Your Man", "Please Mr. Postman", etc. are extremely simple song formats. Although catchy, there is no sitar or choir to accompany these ballads. (See: Magical Mystery Tour.)
