Humans can't solve the mind-body problem

It is in principle impossible for us to solve the mind-body problem, because a solution to it lies outside our conceptual powers. Our predicament is similar to that of an ant grappling with relativity theory.

Just as an ant will never understand the principle of relativity, humans will never understand the mind-body problem.
