OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS at UD2013

The 5th Annual Urban Dialogues exhibition will take place at RED Gallery from the 2–14 October.

This year we will feature the work of 20 individual artists alongside two specially commissioned collaborations. For the second year running the work on display was chosen by a selection panel of experts and arts professionals. This years selection panel included:

• Grace Acton: Greenbelt

• Meryl Doney: Greenbelt

• Michael Regan: Indigo Rooms, Lightbox

• Alice Sielle: Artist

• Althea Legal-Miller: King’s Cultural Institute

Last year saw over a thousand visitors come through our doors to see the exhibition and take part in our educational arts trails and special events. Our 2013 exhibition will see the return of our specialist events and educational workshops catered to people of all ages.

Following on from the success of last year we will be running our hugely popular Festival Night, an evening hosted by Lyrix Organix, featuring spoken word artists, musicians, performance artists and some of the finest street food London has to offer.

This year will also see the return of Female Voices, our women only event featuring panel discussions and performance artists, as well as Day of Play, with a variety of activities catering to families and children from storytelling to interactive art workshops. The last event is our Shoreditch Singathon.
