Panopticon Principle Position #16959

Designed by an English philosopher and social theorist Jeremy Bentham in 1785. The concept is to allow an observer to observe all prisoners without the prisoners being able to tell whether they arebeing watched, known as the"sentiment of an invisible omniscience."
