APQC was an initiative involving 60+ organizations or agencies to develop a way to bridge Business and Enterprise Architecture. Many people oppose business process work, for a number of reasons; effort is high and returns are complicated being the greatest challenge. Technology solutions became part of the equation and this investment doubled the cost. For these two reasons, business as unusual supplies the work and intends to map to a common set of processes. |
